On February 15th the Major Bantam Knights won the Rochester Power-Play Bantam A tournament.

 

The Knights started the tournament with a lopsided 12-3 win over Perinton, New York.  They followed that with a shutout victory over a team from Cleveland 4-0. The boys then battled the refs in their only loss, to a team from Central Pennsylvania, spending half the game in the box.  But, it was a meaningless game as they were already in the semi-finals. 

 

The chants of U-S-A! on the ice seemed to lift them, as they had their redemption the next morning beating the same team in overtime, with boisterous chanting of CAN-A-DA! coming from their on-ice celebration. 

 

The Championship game was a solid 4-1 victory over the host Rochester team.
